Aloo tikki is very popolar snack across India made using mashed potatoes /aloo. There is two type of tikki is made, One is stuffed with chana dal and the other is simple patty. Today i will share the simple one which can be done very quickl if boiled potatoes are available. This crispy aloo tikki doesn't absorb much oil and taste delicious. You can enjoy hot crispy aloo tikki with pudina chutney/ mint chutney or hot tea or coffee.so let's get started..

Ingredients
- potatoes 4 medium
- Ginger paste 1tsp
- Garam masala 1/2 tsp
- Red chili powder 1 tsp
- Mint leaves (chopped)
- coriander leaves(chopped)
- Green chili chopped 1tsp
- Rice flour 2tbsp
- Bread crumbs 3 to 4 tbsp
- Salt as req.
- Oil as req.
- First boiled the potatoes thoroughly, once they are cooked drain them completely. now peel the potatoes and grate them, then mash them.
- Let the potatoes cool down properly, then add the spice powders(garam masala,red chili powder)and ginger paste, chopped mint, coriander leaves, chopped green chili,rice flour, bread, salt and mix it well, make a dough.
- Now, divide the dough into small shaped tikkis, then simply coat the tikkis in the bread crumbs.
- Take a frying pan ,put some oil, heat the oil till its medium hot ,now gently place the tikkis and fry them.
- When one side of tikki becomes golden brown and crispy, turn over and fry the other side.
- Then drain the tikkis on paper towels to remove the excess oil.
- Now your simple , easy nd super tasty snack is ready to serve. you can serve it with green chutney or tomato sauce.
